Board of Management

Bathurst Seymour Centre is governed by a nine (9) member Board of Management. Our Board members volunteer their time, sharing their expertise in community services, business management and the law.

The Board oversees the organisation, ensuring that the Centre’s vision, values and objectives are upheld. Its most important responsibilities are to:

  • approve the organisation’s policies and procedures
  • set the organisation’s strategic directions
  • develop and monitor the strategic and business plans
  • ensure that the organisation meets it legal, financial, employer and contractual responsibilities.

Board members are elected for a one-year term at the Annual General Meeting from amongst the organisation’s financial members.

We invite community members to become financial members of Bathurst Seymour Centre for a small fee. Our members are the backbone of the organisation. Their insights, suggestions and participation is welcomed through the year and at our Annual General Meeting where each year’s challenges and achievements are publically presented to the membership.
